Kindergarten
will continue internalizing the beat through review of various chants and
simple songs. They are learning a new song about “Johnny” who works with many
hammers. 1st Grade is reviewing the following musical terms through
known songs: forte, piano, rhythm,
and phrases. 2nd Grade is reviewing the following musical terms:
quarter note, quarter rest, and eighth notes; they are also practicing their
“detective skills” by finding errors in rhythms of known songs.
