PE - Mrs. Jendrusch - K - 2nd
We are finishing up baseball just in time for spring. We have been working a lot on catching and throwing the ball. To avoid injury we have been using wiffle balls and soft colorful balls. Next week we will begin jump roping and hula hoops.

5th Grade
In music this week 5th grade will be extending our understanding of minor scale relationships and drawing correlations to their relative major key signatures. In music history we will continue to survey the works of Amy Marcy Beach and discuss her influence in the American Romantic Era and the early 20th century. We will also continue working on our spring concert repertoire.
6th Grade
In music this week 6th grade will be reviewing rhythmic subdivisions to the level of a sixteenth note and we will also extend our knowledge of major scale construction. In music history we will begin to examine the differences between opera serials and opera buffs as we examine the work of Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona. We will also continue working on our spring concert repertoire.
